For the second consecutive year, Neuse Charter Schools Alexandar Gonzalez brought home a medal after placing 4th in the 2018 NCHSAA State Wrestling Tournament at 145 pounds. Gonzalez ends his career as the Wrestling Programs leader in wins (124) and pins (67).
Gonzalez was not alone this year at the State Tournament as 11th grader Franko Cuccurello also qualified for the tournament at 132 pounds. Cuccurello placed 5th one win shy of receiving a medal.
