The Johnston County School Board has approved two new assistant principals for South Johnston High and a new assistant principal at Archer Lodge Middle.
During their monthly meeting held Tuesday, Cecelia Banks and Ronald James were both named assistant principals at South Johnston and Chad Holloman was named assistant principal at Archer Lodge Middle School.
All were awarded two year contracts beginning July 1, 2016.
Dana Jernigan, an assistant principal at South will move to the position of Director of Professional Learning on August 1st.
Also the board approved a one year administrative internship for Cindy Allen at Riverwood Middle.
And effective July 1st, the board approve a reorganization of the senior leadership team where Facility Services will now been vertically linked under Administrative Services.
