The Johnston County School Board approved a number of personnel changes during a closed session at their monthly meeting on Tuesday.
Kristina Benson was named principal at West Clayton Elementary, Andrea Jones principal at Wilson’s Mills Elementary, Kathy Parrish principal at Four Oaks Elementary, and Jenna Sauls the principal at Cleveland Middle. All were for two-year contracts starting July 1, 2015.
Sara Lynn Prescott was named an assistant principal at Four Oaks Middle, effective July 1st.
Seven administrators were transferred to new positions. Tandra Batchelor-Mapp the Director of CIA will become the Assistant Principal at Archer Lodge Middle. Kendrick Boyd will move from principal at Cleveland Middle to principal at Cleveland High. Dolores Gill will move from principal at West Clayton Elementary to the position of Elementary Area Supervisor.
David Pearce will become the new principal at South Johnston High. Pearce is currently the principal at Four Oaks Elementary. Eddie Price, the current principal at South Johnston, was named the Area Supervisor for Middle and High Schools.
James Stoke will become the new principal at McGee’s Crossroads Elementary. He is currently the principal at Wilson’s Mills Elementary. Also, Angela Shepherd, an assistant principal at South Smithfield Elementary was named as assistant principal at Selma Elementary.
At the Central Office, Dana Edwards was named Director of Child Nutrition.
Also, administrative contracts were renewed for two years effective July 1st for Lisa Allen, Dawn Alligood, Dee Edmundson, Todd Holmes, Jill McKenna, Ana Milazzotto, Elizabeth Tanner, and William Weaver.
