The Town of Selma has unveiled a new logo. Town Manager Elton Daniels said as part of the rebranding of the town a new logo will give Selma a fresh look.
Selma Mayor Cheryl Oliver agreed saying she has had only positive responses from the new design.
“I love it. I think it is fabulous,” Selma Town Councilwoman Ann Williams said during the Aug. 14th council meeting.
The Town Council voted unanimously to approve the new logo.
Daniels said the new logo would be rolled out over time. To keep costs to a minimum, existing stationary, letterhead and business cards with the current logo will be used until depleted. When the stationary is reordered the new logo design will be used.
The logo prominently features a train, which had a deep history in the town.
