New Smithfield Police Officer Receives Oath

The Smithfield Police Department has hired a new officer.

Officer Kaleb Smith received his oath of office from Smithfield Mayor Andy Moore during the September 6th Smithfield Town Council meeting.

Smith was hired to fill an existing vacancy on the patrol division. He completed his basic law enforcement training at Johnston Community College in Smithfield.
