Kenly Police are still investigating an accident that injured nine people. It happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 301 near the entrance to McDonald’s.
A white Jeep and grey SUV collided. Eight people were in the SUV when the accident occurred.
Numerous EMS personnel responded to the scene because of the large number of injured victims. The injuries included a broken leg and head injury. At least 6 of the 9 were taken to area hospitals.
