The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday no charges would be filed against an adult supervising a 1 year-old child when it was viciously attacked by a pit bull.
The child was critically injured in the October 13th incident.
Authorities said the baby was inside a home on Old Pebble Lane outside of Kenly when an adult family member opened the door to exit the residence. The pit bull ran inside and began biting the young girl.
