Smithfield Manor Inc. was recognized this week for honorably flying the American Flag day and night since the nursing home first opened their doors 41 years ago in 1974.
Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment #1236 Commandant Timothy Daniel and Eagle Scout Coordinator Lewis W. Rice III presented “The Good Business Award” to Smithfield Manor on Berkshire Road in Smithfield on Wednesday.
Administrator Nathan C. Arnn, Director of Nursing Mike Yelverton, Carol Arnn, WWII US Army resident Bennie Williams, and prior service staff members accepted the award.
