Mrs. Alice Boykin Massengill, age 89, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Entombment Services will be 12:00 PM- Monday, May 26, 2025 at Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC. Rev. Kristina Yeatts will officiate.

Mrs. Massengill was born on September 5, 1935 in Johnston County, NC to the late William Edward Boykin and Rena Alice Raynor Boykin. In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Raeford Massengill and a brother, W.E. Boykin. She was a retired secretary and a homemaker. Mrs. Massengill loved to rescue animals, and watch The Young and the Restless, Bold and the Beautiful, along with others. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Smithfield, NC.

Survivors include many loving family members.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
