Smithfield- Alice Rachel Narron Tew Price, age 73, died on Wednesday, December 14, 2021 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born in Wilson NC on January 1, 1948, she was a daughter to the late Paul Vernon Narron and Alice Johnson. Rachel worked and dedicated her time to the school system for over 20 years. She enjoyed crafting, making arrangements, decorating for weddings in her free time, and was a member of New Jerusalem Church in Kenly.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Bizzell Grove Cemetery.
Rachel is survived by her husband, Ronald Nelson Price of Smithfield; son, Brian Keith Tew of Goldsboro; daughter, Pamela Kaye Deans of Selma; step-daughter, Amanda Jernigan of Selma; step-son, Brandon Price of Selma; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Jennifer, Michael, Katie, Cierra, Rian, and Kristen; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, and Royse; and step-great grandchildren, Bryanna, Morgan, Abbigail, Taylor, and Alex.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rachel’s name to New Jerusalem Church in Kenly at 1461 Jerusalem Church Rd, Kenly, NC 27542.
