Alonza “Mike” Milton Narron, age 93, died September 1, 2022, at his home in Apollo Beach, Florida. Born August 7, 1929, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Aaron and Ethel Stancil Narron.
Alonza was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a civil engineer with the Niagara Falls Air Force Base until his retirement in 1984.
He is survived by his daughter, Veronica Narron Kittok; sisters, Louise Gordon of Smithfield and Frances Johnson of Wilson, nephew Kevin Narron of Princeton; grandchildren, Hollis and Haak Kittok, Kaelee Rydzik, Cody Gibbs and Cynthia Wise; and great-grandchildren, Elbie, Ozzie Mae, and Enzio as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette Narron, his children; Cynthia Gibbs and Philip Narron, his siblings; Edsel Narron, Onvis Narron, Georgia Stallings, Nancy Gordon, Franklin Narron and Betty Whitley.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Parrish Funeral Home, 1351 S. Pollock St., Selma, NC beginning at 2:00 P.M. The funeral service at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Billie Lawson officiating. The burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens.
