Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Andres Lopez, age 73, of NC Hwy 210 passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at UNC Johnston Health Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Friday, September 29, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Maria Bueno will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield.
Mr. Lopez was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Angel Maria and Gladys Vargas Lopez. He preceded in death by his brother, Angel Lopez. Mr. Lopez retired from the New York Department of Corrections. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Alicia Lopez; children, Christine Lopez of Angier, David Lopez and wife, Jennifer of Campbell Hall, NY, mother of his children, Irma Lopez of Angier; step-children, Carlos Santos and wife, Maria of Four Oaks, Margaret Santos and husband, Richard Alvarez of Smithfield, Emilia Cardona of Boone, NC; grandchildren, Christian Alvarez, Gabriel Lopez, Leana, Avery, and Maya Lopez, Charlise Alvarez; Abbie and Leah Santos; sister, Janet Cespedes and husband, Orlando of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Pasquale Lopez; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00PM to 7:00PM Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
