Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Barbara Carr Winstead, age 59, of NC Hwy 96 South passed away on November 10, 2022 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Funeral Services will be held-2:00 PM Sunday November 13, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Officiating will be Rev. Manly Turner. Burial will follow in Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.
Mrs. Winstead was born on March 24, 1963 in Onslow County to the late Joseph Wesley and Edith Britt Carr. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Winstead; sons, Christopher Cody Winstead and Dennis Johnson; and sister, Karen Henderson. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Ernie’s Metal Roofing in Four Oaks, NC and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving includes her daughters, Heather Winstead of Four Oaks, Josie Hairr and husband, Andrew of Autryville, and Jan Johnson of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Noleyn Ray Proctor, Alyssa Raven Hairr, Elijah Cole Johnson, Anberlin Lenore Hairr, Trevor Williford, and Justin Williford; and sister, Virginia Turner and husband, Manly.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC.
