Bettie Lucille Radford, age 103, passed away Thursday December 15, 2022 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham. She was born in Wilson County on January 26, 1919 to the late Isaac Barnes and Kiddie Hinnant Barnes. In addition to her mother and father, she is also preceded in death by husband, James Ray Radford; daughters, Deborah Denniston and Trecia Davis.
A funeral service will be held on Monday December 19, 2022 at 2 PM at Fellowship United Methodist Church in Princeton. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 1 PM to 2 PM. Burial will follow the service in Radford – Herring Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Radford is survived by her son, Needham Edgar Radford and wife Phyllis of Garner; her daughter, Judy Smith and husband Randy of Durham; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Radford was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church and also a member of the Eastern Star.
