Billy Joe Wise Jr.

Billy Joe Wise Jr. age 67 went on to be with our Lord on Monday December 22, 2025. He was born to the late Louise Cockrell Wise and Billy Joe Wise in Heidelberg Germany. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and was loved by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his son, Joe Toth, sisters, Angie Dale of Phoenix, AZ, Dilly Whittington of Selma, NC and Cindy Wise of Smithfield, NC; 6 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held at Parrish Funeral Home 1351 S Pollock St Selma NC on Monday December 29, 2025 from 5 pm-7pm where friends and family will gather to share stories, memories, and laughter, just as Jr. would have wanted. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday December 30, 2025 at 1 pm at New Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church at 1461 Jerusalem Church Road Kenly NC. Burial will be held in Cockrell Family Cemetery at 2929 Glendale Road Kenly, NC.

He was a carpenter by trade but he could fix anything. His greatest passion was riding his Harley and two wheels was a way of life for him since he was 8 years old. He had a generous heart and was always willing and more than eager to help others. Jr. brought love and laughter everywhere he went with his quick wit and humorous remarks.

Jr. went out doing what he loved and our lives will be a lot quieter with a lot less laughter without him here.

Rest in peace BJ. You’ve ridden your last ride and your legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
