Brenda Carolyn Starling Coble, 82, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. She was born January 15, 1942, in Johnston County, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Claude Wade and Mildred Lois Radford Starling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law; Clarence A. Clarida, sister; Janice Marie Byrd and four brothers; Bill Starling, Donald Starling, Jack Staring and Floyd Starling.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Randleman. Brenda worked as a Supervisor with Cascade Die Casting in High Point for over thirty-five years and later worked as a Supervisor and Greeter with Wal-Mart. She loved to travel, go pier fishing at the beach with her sister and enjoyed working in her yard and caring for her flower gardens.
Brenda is survived by her three children; William Eugene Coble of Greensboro, Patricia Ann Clarida of Randleman and Kenneth Scott Coble (Tina) of Kernersville; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Lewis, Sharon Baysinger, Michael Coble (Krista), William Packett (Kayla Perkins), Casey Clarida ( Sara Chaney), Matthew Owen (Wendy), Sean Owen (Jessica), Brittney Mallonee (Michael), Ashley Lyman (John); twelve great-grandchildren: and several nieces and nephews.
The first Funeral Service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Marvin Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:45 – 1:45 pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
The second Funeral Service celebrating Brenda’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, Septembrer 4, 2024, in the Casey Funeral Home & Cremations Chapel in Princeton, NC. Burial will follow in the Princeton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations.
