Mr. Carlie Clarence Parker, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Caudle, Mr. Jeff Stewart, and Mr. Frank James. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Parker was born on April 8, 1940, in Harnett County to the late Clarence Quinton Parker and Virginia Pearl Godwin Parker Norris. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James Parker and Quinton Parker. Mr. Parker retired as a crane operator after 45 plus years and was a member of Community Chapel Church. Mr. Parker enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and vacationing in the mountains.
Surviving include his wife of 57 years, Joyce J. Parker; children, Carvis Parker of Benson, Donna P. Stewart and husband, Jeff of Benson, Tonya P. Lee and husband, Perrin of Benson; grandchildren, Carla Brooke Warren and husband, Adam, Parker Stewart, Allie Stewart; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM- 8:00PM, Monday, December 27, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
