Carmel Howard Wall, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born in Johnston County on October 17, 1943, he was a son of the late Wilton Wall and Hazel Driver Wall.
Carmel was a member of Watkin’s Chapel Baptist Church in Middlesex. He was a deacon and also served in many other areas of the church. Carmel worked in steel fabrication for multiple companies for over 40 years. In his free time, he was an avid hunter, enjoyed Nascar, UNC football, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed many days of traveling adventures with his brother Billy.
A funeral service will be held at Watkin’s Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.
In addition to his parents, Carmel is preceded in death by his first wife, Nadine Driver Wall, second wife, Phillis Narron Wall, and brothers; Kenneth Wall, Bobby Wall, and Nealy Wall.
Carmel is survived by his sons; Robbie Wall of Louisburg, Brian Narron and wife Christe of Beaufort; Ron Narron of Middlesex, daughter, Deanna Massengill and husband Phil of Four Oaks; brothers; Shelton Wall of Zebulon and Billy Wall of Middlesex; grandchildren; Hunter O’Neal, Grant Bryd, Cole Narron, Weston Wall, Madison Wall, Gunner Narron, and Colton Narron and great grandchildren, Sadie O’Neal, Procter O’Neal, Rhett O’Neal, and Remie Kate Byrd.
