Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.
Mr. Massengill was born on May 15, 1945 in Harnett County, NC to the late Alton and Naomi Sorrell Massengill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Massengill. Mr. Massengill was a retired Insurance Agent. He was the myth, the man, and the legend.
Surviving includes his wife of 21 years, Deborah Massengill; children, Rachel Massengill, Brian Weaver, and Taylor Weaver; grandchildren, Tori Massengill, Gabriel Massengill, and Elliot Weaver; sister, Sue Morris; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM-1:45PM-on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
