Christel Page Oppelt McGowan, 50, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023. She was born in Miami, Florida on September 25, 1972 to Sharon Linn Oppelt and the late David Victor Oppelt.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel. The burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton.
Christel was a Physical Fitness Trainer for 20 years, helping people achieve their physical goals. She loved the Lord. She was a helper; helping people with not only their physical issues, but other personal issues as well. Christel loved her family very much even though many miles separated them. She also loved her canine friends, Dixie and Lucy which she walked every morning.
She is survived by her husband, Garrett Eugene McGowan; daughter, Ashley Christel of Florida; sisters, Sharon Michelle (husband John) of Australia, Kimberly Linn (husband Marty) of Florida, and Christina Dawn Michelle (husband Daniel) of Florida; and Kendra Terra of Florida; and grandchildren, Oscar and Seth.
