Clarence Victor Thompson, Jr, known by family and friends as “CV”, made the glorious journey to meet his Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, November 9, 2024. He was surrounded by his Family, Pastor, and a room full of love.
CV was a gentle man, touching the lives of many along his 80 years on earth. He was also a strong man, never backing down from a challenge and always standing firm on what is right. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, teaching his family to always put God first, treat others with respect, be humble, honest, and work hard. This was the creed he lived by.
His wife, Linda, shared 58 years with him. Together, they constructed their lives, raised their children, and built a strong foundation to watch their family grow upon. Their children, David and Tracie, had the blessing of being raised by this wonderful man, and will always cherish the love he provided and live by the values he taught us.
CV Thompson was a truly wonderful man, we will miss him greatly, but know we will see him again soon. Even in death, he provided his family with the comfort of knowing there is a better life awaiting us and we will all be back together soon in the presence of God’s glory.
CV was born January 10, 1944. He was raised and lived his entire life in the Brogden, NC community. He was preceded in death by his Father, Victor Thompson, Mother, Mildred Thompson, and Son, Gregory Wayne Thompson.
