Clifton Wilson Beasley Sr. age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born, December 4, 1939, in Wilson’s Mills, he was the son of the late Elton Bee Beasley and Hazel Bridges Beasley. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Eugene Beasley, and son, Clifton Wilson Beasley II.
Clifton graduated from Wilson’s Mills School and was a General Contractor for 48 Years before retiring. He was a Co-Founder for Godwin-Falcon Volunteer Fire Department of September 1970. He loved NASCAR, Wrestling, and Bowling. Clifton was a member of Wilson’s Mills Baptist Church and always enjoyed family gatherings and others company.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening September 8, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are his sons; David Beasley, Mark Beasley (Crystal Johnson), Stephen Beasley, Jon Beasley, brother, Howard Beasley (Alison) grandchildren; Brandon Beasley Logan Brooks (Kevin), Janelle Langan (Andrew), Blair Pelosi (Michael), Jessica Beasley, Adam Beasley (Emily), Hope Beasley, Channing Beasley, Sydney Beasley, Sophie Beasley, Makenzie Beasley; great-grandchildren, Rylee Langdon and Natalie Brooks.
Clifton Sr. will be remembered as a dedicated man of God, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
