Micro, NC: Mrs. Darlene McClenny Massengill, age 64, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. The Massengill Family will hold Memorial Services11:00 AM- Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Four Oaks United Methodist Church in Four Oaks. Rev. Adam Charville will officiate.

Mrs. Massengill was born on December 29, 1957 in Sampson County, NC to the late Henry and Martha Holland McClenny. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janie Baker. Mrs. Massengill retired from electronics with C & K and assisted her husband with their family’s cleaning business.

Surviving include her husband, John Darrell Massengill; children, Billy Wayne Jackson, Jimbo Jackson, Tracey Michelle Jackson; step-son, Tripp Massengill and wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Justin Jackson, Tyler Jackson, C.J. Jackson, Melody Jackson, Katlyn Jackson, Shelby Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, and Dakota Surrett; sisters, Edna Willis, Joanne Peedin, Kay Witherspoon, Patricia Stanley, Joyce Woodard; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
