Dunn, NC: Mr. David William Langdon, age 82, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Johnson’s Better Care of Dunn, NC. Funeral Services will be held-11:00AM Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Coats Church of God of Prophecy in Coats, NC. Bishop Frank L. Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery in Coats, NC.
Mr. Langdon was born on January 20, 1940 in Durham County to the late William Bernice and Martha Johnson Langdon. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bernice Langdon, Brodie Langdon, and Steve Langdon and sisters, Rose Marie Langdon, Julia Meyers and Juanita McLeod. Mr. Langdon was a truck driver with various companies prior to retirement and member of Coats Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving includes his brother, Rex Langdon; sister, JoAnne Hood; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM -10:45AM prior to the service at Coats Church of God of Prophecy.
Flowers are welcome however; memorials may be made in his memory to Coats Church of God of Prophecy at P.O. Box 390 Coats, NC 27521.
