Benson, NC: Ms. Debra Goodman Pender, age 67, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen. Burial will follow in Benson City Cemetery in Benson.
Ms. Pender was born on November 29, 1954 in Harnett County to the late Joseph Randolph and Meta Sue McLamb Goodman. She was a retired registered nurse serving the Johnston, Harnett and Wake County areas.
Surviving include her daughters, Meta Michelle Weeks and JoEllen Nicole Weeks both of Benson; brother, Randy Bruce Goodman of Benson; nephews, Charles Joseph Goodman of Wilmington and Robert Bruce Goodman of Virginia; special pets, Buster Brown and Rascal Jax.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 1:45PM on Thursday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home.
