Coats, NC: Mrs. Dianne Pope Denning, age 77, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Coats Methodist Church in Coats, NC. Rev. Paul Cecil and Mr. Buster Stone will officiate. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Denning was born on May 21, 1945 in Harnett County, NC to the late David B. and Zelda Byrd Pope. Along side her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Ray Denning, and her sisters, Addie Sheppard and Laura Lassiter. Mrs. Denning was a retired seamstress and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Coats Methodist Church in Coats, NC. She will always be remembered for her love, and talent of cooking and decorating cakes.
Survivors include her children, Denise Kolosky and husband, Mark, Trace Denning and wife, Sherry, Dena Klein and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Alicia LaMotte and husband, Phil, Jessica Johnson and husband, T.J., Trevor Denning and wife, Rebekah, Lincoln Denning and wife, Savanah, Lana Klein, and Gavin Klein, great-grandchildren, Gabriel LaMotte, Nathaniel LaMotte, Aubrey Johnson, Lexi Johnson, Emery Denning, and Ellie Denning; sisters, Glenda Denning, and Janice Landen and husband, Robert; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC, and other times at the home of Dena Klein 1845 Abattior Road, Coats, NC 27521.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery C/O Frances Avery 2150 Crawford Road, Coats, NC 27521.
