Donna Smith Murray
(February 15, 1940-December 31, 2022)
On December 31, 2022, Donna Smith Murray, loving mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 82. Donna was a daughter of the late Bennie and Lanora (Mayfield) Smith. She is preceded in death by her grandson Jacob Dillon Garrett and Great-granddaughter Gabriela-Desiree Marie Portillo.
Although Donna was a homemaker for most of her adult life, her favorite job outside the home was driving a cab for the city of Muskogee, OK. There, she met lots of interesting people and befriended many. In her later years, Donna enjoyed spending her time watching the birds and squirrels from her window. She also loved singing along to old hymns played on the piano. More than anything, she loved Jesus and her grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending for the spring.
Surviving are her son, Bobby Nagel of Beggs, OK; son, Larry Nagel and wife, Donna, of Sapulpa, OK; daughter, Keri Ruyle and husband, Al, of Yukon, OK; and daughter, Sherrill Garrett and husband, Joe, of Selma, NC; sisters Anita Cooper of Las Vegas, NV and Avis Martindale of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Krystal Cisneros and husband, Edgar; Amber Shear and husband, Cameron; Katrina Campbell; Brittany Timmons and husband, Corey; Amanda Pantle and husband, Chris; Jordan Nagel and wife, Danielle; Aimee Allison and husband, Jason; Kerry Scott and wife, Cheyenne; Kyle Scott and 16 great-grandchildren.
