Doris Game “Tootsie” Lucas, age 73, of Selma passed away December 27, 2022 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born March 2, 1949 to the late Robert Thurman Game and Doris Overman Game and was also preceded in death by a sister Jewel Ricketts.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Robbie Keen and his wife Kim of Princeton, her daughter Dolly Updegraff of Conway, SC, her sisters, Linda Britt and husband Willie of Smithfield and Jackie Creech of Kenly, stepsons, Lance Lucas and wife Danielle and Daniel Lucas and wife Brandy, stepdaughters, Dana Garcia and husband Adam and Danielle Lucas, 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Tootsie enjoyed traveling, especially cruises, she was an avid fisherman and enjoyed family and friends including her Lowes family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday December 30, 2022 at 2 PM in the chapel of Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service with Pastor Daniel Arant officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
