Douglas Keith “Doug” Wall, age 70, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 in the Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Born October 14, 1951 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Needham Norwood and Mozelle Brown Wall. Doug was a member of Tee’s Chapel FWB Church where he and his wife Vicky served as youth leaders for many years. Doug also served as an usher for many years. He would always greet the children with a high five and a piece of candy. Doug loved fishing, spending time outdoors and enjoyed time with his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022 in Tee’s Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The funeral will be streamed live on Parrish Funeral Home’s Facebook page. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Friday just prior to the service at the church.
Surviving are his wife, Vicky Thompson Wall; sons, Douglas Keith “Doug” Wall, Jr. and wife Shannon of Wilmington and Nicholas Gray Wall and wife Julie of Smithfield; brothers, Gary Wall of Chocowinity, Daryl Wall of Chicago, IL and Terry Wall of Kernersville; grandchildren, Destiny Horton, Anna Wall and Landon Wall; and many nieces and nephews.
