Kenly – Edith Briscoe Balazsi, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on September 9, 1929 in Johnston County, she was daughter to the late Evan Briscoe and Frances Ballance Briscoe.
A graveside service to honor Edith’s life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Roger Banks officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Edith is survived by her son, Joe Briscoe and wife, JoAnn, her daughter-in-law, Brenda Balazsi; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Julian, Jimmy, and Evan Balazsi.
