The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Graveside Funeral Services will be 12:00PM-Friday, January 17, 2025 at McMillan Presbyterian Church Cemetery 6020 Goldsboro Road, Wade NC 28395.
Mrs. Jones was born on January 22, 1940 in Johnston County, NC to the late Herman Edward and Mildred Inez Bazemore Holmes. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Robert Williams, and sisters, Lois Hardison, Marie Holmes, and Jean Reaves. Earlier in life, Mrs. Jones worked with Kerr Drug as a stock clerk. She also worked in the child care industry and was a homemaker. She loved reading, gardening, and watching westerns.
Survivors include her children, Keith Williams and wife, Vickie, and Michael Williams and Bridget; grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Brandon Williams, Chad Williams, Heidi Williams, Tyler Williams, and Madelyn Williams; six great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Harris; and many nieces and nephews.
