Benson, NC: Mr. Ernest David Cline, age 60, of Benson passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Memorial services will be held-1:00PM on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Speakers include Danny Clifton, Michele Steel, Jason Kelley and John Langdon.
David was born on December 29, 1963 in Man, West Virginia to the late Ernest Lee Cline and Martha Billings Cline. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Lynn Cline. David attended South Man Elementary School and Man High School in West Virginia. He was a volunteer fireman for the Man Fire Department. The last twenty plus years David was a mechanic supervisor for NCDOT. David was a man who loved life, he loved to hunt, fish at the beach, loved camping in the mountains. David loved above all his family and one of his greatest pleasures was spoiling his grandkids. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving includes his wife of 12 years, Tracey Lee Cline; children, Krystal Nicole Clark and significant other, Wesley Wilson and Justin David Cline and fiancé, Heather Gibbs; grandchildren, Khileigh-Rae Elizabeth Clark, Bane-Christopher Allen Clark, Kasen Winston Cline and Cole Draden Wilson and several special friends.
The family will receive friends after the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
