Essie Irene Pelt Aycock, 88, of Goldsboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was born December 29, 1934 in Wayne County to the late Robert Monroe and Mattie Essie Garris Pelt.
Mrs. Aycock enjoyed many things but she especially enjoyed working in her garden of flowers. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Mrs. Aycock loved music, mainly listening to Christian music. She truly loved her family and above all things she loved God.
The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at10:00 am at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations in Princeton, NC. Reverend Glenn Phillips will be officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.
Mrs. Aycock is survived by; son, Robert H. Goff (Pam) of Goldsboro; daughter, Jamie A Gurley (Durand) of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Brantley Gurley (McKenzie), Jason Goff and Kendall Gurley; great granddaughter, Jackie Grace Gurley.
