Clayton- Eula Mae Bishop Phillips, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at UNC Johnston Health of Clayton. Born in Sampson County on February 1, 1936, she was a daughter to the late Allen Lloyd Bishop and Mittie Eula McClenny.
In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years who she adored, Carl Booker Phillip; son, Carl Dwayne Phillips; brother, James Allen Bishop; and sisters, Nettie Bishop Warren and Virdie Mable Pender.
Surviving are her many nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church at 7438 State Hwy 96 N, Selma, NC 27576.
