Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Everette Sherrill “Tinker” Norris, Jr., age 58, of Gardner Road passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Mr. Roger Norris. Burial will follow in Burnell Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mr. Norris was born on September 16, 1965 in Johnston County, NC to Judy C. Norris of Four Oaks and the late Everette Sherrill Norris, Sr. He worked as a supervisor for Thyssen Precision Forge in Selma. Mr. Norris was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors in addition to his mother are, brother, Roger Norris and wife, Jennifer of Four Oaks; nieces and nephews, Emma Norris, Jessica Purdy, Jacob Purdy, and Clayton Purdy; special aunt, Diane Barbour; and special cousins, Tammy Johnson and Scott Barbour and wife, Jane.
The family will receive friends from 9:00AM to 9:45AM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home of Roger and Jennifer Norris on Old School Road.
