REFLECTIONS
Flora was born in Wilson County North Carolina to the late James Walter Kent and Lula Creech Kent. Flora was one of seven children born to this union and the last survivor. Flora Mae’s siblings were James, Joe, Thadeus, Johnny, Mozelle and Algie Kent, who all preceded her in death.
At an early age, Flora joined Rocky Branch United Church in Kenly, NC. While living in Wayne County. She was a member of St. Paul Apostolic Holiness Church II. While living in Smithfield, NC. She joined St. Peters disciples of Christ. She went to school in the Wilson County Public School System. Flora Mae enjoyed preparing food and sharing with family and friends.
Flora Mae leaves behind a son, Billy Ray Kent, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She will be missed dearly
