Frances Gail Collins Sanders, 77, passed away at the Four Oaks Senior Living Center on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Gail was born on December 5, 1947 to the late Carncey Rousey Collins and Lucille Evans Collins Allen.
One of Gail’s favorite past-times was watching the birds, deer and all wildlife. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and word searches. Gail also liked doing crafts and just watching people. She enjoyed drinking Mt. Dew and eating nabs. She loved remembering and telling stories about family and friends. Most of all she loved her family and friends and missed those that were no longer with her.
Gail is survived by her son, Charles Edward Sanders of Castle Hayne, NC; brother, David Earl Collins of Rosewood; niece, Deana Collins of Goldsboro; great niece, Raven Collins of Goldsboro; and a special friend, Carrie Craft Lewis of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 with the Reverend Kelvin Gurley officiating.
