Gloria McNeil

Gloria Hill McNeil, born in Sanford, North Carolina to Waymond Hill and Clara Mae Dammons Hill, peacefully departed this life on December 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her sister May Hill, and her brother Waymond Hill Jr.

Gloria is survived by her devoted husband, Milton (Buddy) McNeil of Smithfield, NC. She is also remembered by her loving sister, Clara Siler (Dwight) of Siler City, NC, and her brothers Terry Hill (Trisha) of Four Oaks, NC, as well as her brother-in-law Donald McLaughlin of Sanford, NC, and her sister-in-law Cheryl Hill of Siler City, NC.

Gloria’s warm spirit will be cherished by her three aunts, Mary Ann Hill and Gertha Dammons, both of Sanford, NC, and Anne Hill of Newark, NJ, along with a multitude of treasured nieces and nephews.

In addition to her family, Gloria formed deep bonds with three devoted friends: Brenda Shaw of Kenly, NC, and Artie and Courtney Smith of Smithfield, NC, who will undoubtedly carry her memory in their hearts.

Gloria’s life was marked by love, family, and friendship, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
