Grace Elaine Revell Coit was born December 14, 1939 in Johnston County, North Carolina to the late George W and Roxanna Vinson Revell. Grace made a peaceful transition to her heavenly home on October 31, 2024. Grace was raised in Selma, North Carolina. She was a graduate of Richard B Harrison High School and North Carolina Central University. After graduating from college, she was united in marriage to Alexander Coit and they later relocated to Brooklyn, New York.
She attended Janes United Methodist Church in Brooklyn, New York where she was a faithful member until her health failed. Grace was employed with Merrill Lynch as an Analyst and retired after 32 years of service. She enjoyed family and loved visiting North Carolina to share many fun and happy moments with them.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, George and Roxanna Revell; her husband, Alexander Coit; her brothers, Ernest, James-Roosevelt and Harvey Revell; sisters, Audrey Faye Revell and Helen Jones Revell and mother-in-law, Eldena McCoy.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Sharon Camacho (Alex); granddaughters, Bre’shey and Alexis; sister, Catherine R Watson; sister-in-law, Alice R Summers; special God daughters; Michelle, Mia, and Kim; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
