Henry Carson “HC” Ford, Jr. was born in Wilson, NC on September 19, 1950, and passed away on January 6, 2025 in Fayetteville, NC.
He graduated from Pine Forest High School in 1968 and briefly served in the US Army. He worked for Winn Dixie as a department manager and Lance, Inc. as a sales representative. After retiring from Lance, he worked part time transporting vehicles for Lafayette Ford. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the company of his good friends. He never hesitated to take a trip to Disney World, and he loved spending time with his grandson, Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Shyrene Smith Ford; daughter, Denise Jackson; son-in-law, Matt Jackson; grandson, Parker; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Carson Ford; mother, Hazel Mason Ford; brother, Stanley Ford; and sister, Patty Jo Ford Mosely.
A graveside service will be held at the Mason Family Cemetery on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11 am, with Dr. Chris Partin (Plymouth Church, Raleigh) officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
