Ilene Fay Mariast Steiner, 83, of Smithfield passed away at SECU Hospice House in Johnston County on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Louis Joseph Mariast and Bertha Salo Mariast. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Schuyler Steiner; son, David Carl Steiner and brother, Louis J. Mariast.
Mrs. Steiner is survived by her sons, James Steiner, Edward Steiner and George Steiner; one grandson, Eddie Steiner.
