Benson, NC: Ms. Imogene Stephenson, age 91, of Red Hill Church Road passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at The Carrolton of Dunn surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Coats. Officiating will be Rev. Donnie Barbour. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Stephenson was born on June 18, 1931 in Harnett County, NC to the late Lloyd Walton and Izola Messer Stephenson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lottie G. Stephenson and brother, Thomas Stephenson. Ms. Stephenson was a retired insurance agent and a member of Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Coats.
Survivors include her brothers, Mack Stephenson and wife, Patricia of Lillington, Cecil Stephenson and wife, Beverly of Coats; sister-in-law, Bette Stephenson of Cornelius, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00PM to 1:45PM at Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church prior to the service.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Red Hill Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 5355 Red Hill Church Road, Coats, NC 27521.
