Pine Level – Milton “Jackie” Rose Woodard, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday January 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Johnston County on August 29, 1930 to the late Milton D. Crocker and Ruby V. Strickland Crocker. In addition to her father and mother she is also preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Woodard Jr.; sisters, Madawaska Schofield and Mildred Parrish.
The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Tuesday January 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Howard Scott officiating. Burial will be held in Crocker cemetery in Pine Level immediately following the memorial service.
She is survived by her daughters, Ellen “Vickie” Barham (Newton), Luann Woodard (Jerry), Billie Kay Twigg (Mike); brother, Robin Crocker; sisters, Jerrie Stuckey (Charles), Patty Crocker; grandchildren, Alison Barefoot (JB), Will Barham (Tina), Kaitlyn Haislet (Arthur), Madison Edwards (Tyler); great grandchildren, Austin Parrish (Patricia), Christina Parrish (Alex).
Jackie was a lifetime member of the Pine Level community and Free Will Baptist Church. She was also a member of Philathea class and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pine Level Fire Department.
