Smithfield – James Monroe Dunn, age 58, died Wednesday at his home. Born May 7, 1964 in Hampton, VA to James Morris Dunn of Princeton and the late Frances Louise Brown Hogge, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sylvia Diane Williams.
James was a handyman by trade and could fix anything he put his mind to.
The family will hold a private service, to remember James, at a later date.
Surviving are his wife Kimberly Dunn; sons, Tommy Holmes of Selma and Joshua Dunn and his wife Jenny of Willow Springs; daughter, Melissa Holmes of Smithfield; father and stepmother, James Morris and Betty Worley Dunn of Princeton; sisters, Linda Lee Allen of Smithfield, Wanda Dunn Hicks of Tennessee and Ashley Strayhorn of Princeton and six grandchildren, Collin, Camden, Julian, Audrey, Landon and Torstyn.
Parrish Funeral Home is assisting the Dunn family.
