Jerry Dean Braswell, 66, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Jerry was born in Wayne County on September 22, 1955 to the late Reginald Miller Braswell, Sr. and Janie Lee McLamb Braswell.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Panis Yvonne Worley Braswell; sons, Jerry Lee Braswell of Princeton, Chris Faircloth of Goldsboro, Carroll Dee Tilghman and wife Kim of Smithfield; daughters, Jerica Torres and husband Tano of Florida, Melody Driver and husband John of Louisiana, Joni Page and significant other Shane of Selma; brother, Reginald Braswell, Jr. and wife Benita of Rosewood; six grandchildren; one great grandson; best buddy, Luby Wallace, and several other family and friends.
Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. In his spare time, he loved to farm, fish, and garden, but most importantly spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
The funeral service will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations Chapel with Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations in Princeton. The burial will be held in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 22, 2022.
