Four Oaks, NC: Mr. John Kenneth Barefoot, age 79 of Oak Forest Rd. passed away on August 10, 2024 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM- Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating will be Elder Ray King and Owen Massengill. Burial will follow in Massengill Family Cemetery, 772 Stone Creek Rd., Four Oaks NC 27524.
Kenneth was born on December 17, 1944 in Johnston County to the late John Lloyd Barefoot and Viola Thornton Barefoot. Along with his parents Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Rayvon and J.D. Barefoot and a sister, Jean West.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Linda Barefoot; sisters, Phoebe Watson, Patsy Lee, Jackie Johnson and Janice Thornton; brother-in-law, Larry Barefoot and wife, Gail; along with several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 2:45PM on Thursday, August 15 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
