Benson, NC: Mrs. Kayla Lavenets Morales, age 26, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. Funeral Services will be held-2:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
Kayla was born on March 20, 1996 to Chris Lavenets and Heather Johnson. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roberta and R.J. Lieberman and Chester Lavenets and also her brother, Kyle Kozlowski.
Kayla was a stay-at-home mom. She loved going to the beach, camping, spending time with her family, and having a good time. She was an amazing wife and mother.
Surviving includes her husband, Mario Morales; daughters, Makenna Morales, Evelyn Morales, and Brooklyn Morales; mother and step-father, Heather and James Johnson; father and step-mother, Chris and Kim Lavenets; maternal grandparents, Eric and Carol White; siblings, Madalyne Chamberlain, Amber Locklear, Elizabeth Johnson, Samantha Lavenets, Stephanie Barbour, Andrew Johnson, and Cole Kozlowski; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave Matthews and Crystal Matthews; brother-in-law, David Matthews; special aunt, Debbie Henry; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
