Selma- Kelly Melissa Hicks Almon, age 46, passed away at her home on January 23, 2022. Born in Smithfield on November 25, 1975, she was a daughter to Stephen Hicks and Sherron Grice Hicks.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-6:00 PM just prior to the service.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father, Stephen Hicks.
She is survived by her mother, Sherron Grice Hicks, son, Zachary Ray Almon and wife Lindsey of Selma; sister, Wendy Stile and husband Tim of Selma; brother, Chris Hicks and wife Angela of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Kinsley Faith Almon of Selma; nieces, Danielle Murray and husband Kevin of Youngsville; Bailey Hicks of Rocky Mount; nephew, Brandon Beasley of Goldsboro; great nephew, Carson Murray of Youngsville; great niece, Palmer Murray of Youngsville; three aunts, one uncle, and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to their gofundme to help with funeral expenses.
