Kenneth “Ken” Owen Fowler

Kenneth “Ken” Owen Fowler, 63, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, following a lengthy terminal illness. He was born December 10, 1962, in Horry County, South Carolina, to the late George Lloyd Fowler and Vina Long Fowler.

Ken grew up in South Carolina and, after graduating from high school, enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served for 12 years as a Cavalry Scout, including tours in Germany and during Desert Storm. Following his discharge, he moved to North Carolina, where he worked his way through college while helping a friend with rehabbing houses. After college, Ken worked in HVAC and went on to start his own HVAC company, which he successfully operated for 17 years. After selling his business, he and his wife, Misty, enjoyed working together in real estate, flipping houses.

Ken loved spending time with friends and enjoyed golfing, jet skiing, camping, smoking cigars, hunting, and watching the birds, deer, and squirrels in his yard. He had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Fowler, and his twin sisters, Shelvie Jean Fowler and Bobbie Jean Fowler Tyree.

He is survived by his loving wife, Misty Fowler; his sisters, Teresa Davis and Judy Boyer of Loris, South Carolina; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and close friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 p.m.
