Lance Cook age 36 of Smithfield passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, from an automobile accident. He left behind his mother, Donna Baker, of Smithfield and his biological mother, Teresa Cook, of Four Oaks. Lance also has two beautiful daughters, Mackenzie Lanee Cook and Addyson Sophia Della-Coletta. Lance left behind his fiancé, Amberly Wilson of Coats and her children Ashlyn and Lucas Wilson. Lance’s aunt, Cathy Baker was always his second mother that he loved dearly. He always enjoyed spending times with his brothers, Wesley Hobbs (Patricia) and Travis Cook (Deanna), laughing and being carefree.
Lance graduated from Smithfield-Selma High in 2005 and was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of First Christian Church, Smithfield. Lance always enjoyed deer hunting and never met a stranger. Lance will be missed by many especially his aunts, uncles and cousins.
